The DataPro 1011 series Serial/Parallel
Cable is a molded extension cable for
any 25-pin DSub application.
The 1011 series is a DB25F to DB25M
assembly with a straight-through wiring pinout; the usual application
for this cable is to extend the length
of an existing serial or parallel cable.
It can also be used as a synchronous modem cable
where a Male-to-Female configuration with
more than nine conductors is needed.
The wiring diagram is all 25 conductors
connected straight-through. This cable will
not work in any null-modem configurations, which
require crossover pins.
We also build this cable in any length you require.
We have built this cable in excess of 50 feet for
parallel applications and 300 feet for RS232 serial
applications. These lengths will vary depending on
the quality of your communications equipment.
