Cleanly and efficiently patch through a Cat5e / Cat6 RJ45 Ethernet connection with this DataPro splicer. Both connectors are RJ45 female and are wired EIA/TIA 568-B.

The distance limitation per segment of CAT5e cable is 100 meters or 328 feet. These connectors will connect two cables together, but may reduce signal strength to below the 100 meter maximum.

Because each connector in a run is a potential vector for signal loss and interference, wherever possible we recommend the use of longer Ethernet patch cables instead of couplers.
