The DataPro 1122W series is a waterproof 9-pin, male to panel-mount female extension cable that features a silicone gasket to create an IP67-rated watertight seal for mounting into a faceplate or wall-late.
9-pin cables are capable of carrying a number of different communication standards, so we do not restrict the maximum length of custom 9-pin cables when ordering. Please note however that we do not accept returns of custom products, and recommend verifying that the specified length will work for your intended application and standard before ordering. RS-232 has a maximum recommended cable length of 50ft (15m), while RS-422, RS-423, and RS-485 can reach as far as 3900ft (1200m) at reduced speeds.
Please note that due to the design of the waterproof connector, it is impossible to ground the shell on the panel-mount end of the cable. If you require this functionality, please contact our Sales department!
